RISK AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting
to the head of finance the position will be responsible for managing
risk and compliance matters on daily basis to deliver business growth,
excellent customer services, operational compliance staff performance
and development and investigations
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work as liaison between the bank and regulatory agencies regarding and compliance matters and investigation
- Prepare and evaluate regular suspicious activity reports
- Study new banking products and services to evaluate risk
- Inform and advice matter relating to codes of conduct anti money laundering regulations and terrorist financing activities
- Assist in the development of and manage process to identify and evaluate business policies and standard
- Prepare training materials for issues related to risk and compliance
- Assist in the development of an manage process to identify and evaluate business policies and standard
- Monitor daily transactions done by all branches country side so as to identify suspicious transactions
- Doing forensic investigations
- Any other duties related to risk and compliance
Holder of bachelor degree in business related from any recognized university, possession of professional will be an added advantage, candidate should have
at least 2 years working experience in risk management and compliance
functions, sound knowledge of bank products, good communicator, computer
skills, should be of high level of professionalism honest with
