Fastlink Safaris & Tours Limited is a fast growing Tanzanian Company dealing with Air Ticketing and Ground Handling Services.
In order to keep our services at a higher level and meet our customers’ maximum satisfaction we wish to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the challenging position.

POSITION: Sales and Marketing personnel (5 Vacancies)

REPORTS TO: Branch Supervisor
DUTY STATION: Songea/Kigoma/Mbeya
Role Purpose Statement: To provide all necessary services to customers as contracted by the airline which include but not be limited to planning of trips, advising on connection routes and issuance of tickets.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

       Make ticket booking, quote fare, issue ticket and send to direct customer or Agents.
    Maintaining and developing strong, sustainable relationships with key travel agency clients, as well as corporate and direct clients.
    Gather market and client information, and following up with visits to develop new business
    Develop and maintain an extensive customer database.
    Provide consultation for clients on the services provided by the company.
    Assisting the Manager in implementing sales strategies for the company
    Handle telephone and email enquiries as regards travel information
    Carry out other tasks when assigned by Company
    Any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    At least bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration. Accounting, Finance, Information and Communication, Tourism and equivalent qualifications
    Certification in relevant computer applications
    Experience in delivering service in demanding customer environment
    Fluency in appropriate foreign languages
    Experience in related field will be an added advantage.



Remuneration and Benefits:

    Gross Pay (Gross Salary & Bonus) ranges: TZS 450,000-TZS 800,000 per month subject to taxes, duties and other statutory deductions.
    The successful candidate recruited outside work station will be entitled to transportation of personal effects to the maximum of his/her entry salary point and fare to the new station for himself/herself.



Contract Period:
1 year Renewable contract after completion of 6 months probationary period

NB: The successful candidate shall be enrolled with IATA distance learning courses (3months) and take an exam to attain at least IATA diploma in travel and tourism as a prerequisite for confirmation of employment. All training and examination costs will be funded by the company to the scope of first examination sitting.
